This wireless camera and monitor is simple to set up and comes packed with features. The camera operates on 2.4 GHz wireless protocol and comes with a wide angle lense so you can view a large area. It also has 6 infra-red sensors to provide viewing in low light areas. The 5.5 inch black and white monitor provides a crisp and clear picture to give you a sharp image of your baby and can also double as a TV to pick up local channels-it is not cable ready. Audio is included so you can see and hear as well. Both the monitor and the camera operate on AC adapters (both included). Range is 300 feet: Features: Simple to set up. Important detail left out of description   Review Date: February 7, 2009 Reviewer: Anne Power, Denham Springs, LA This product works pretty well -- as long as there is a clear line of sight between the camera and the monitor! However, if the camera's in one room and the monitor's in another, don't bother trying. Seems silly to have the monitor within sight of the camera. If you're that close, you don't really need a monitor, do you? This important detail was left out of the description and with a 7 day return policy, we were unable to do anything about it once the issue was discovered.
