| We purchased this new model to replace our 5 year old model which had been dropped numerous times. The old one couldn't keep a good picture, like it was scrambling. We put the new one on to test it and now that the new one is sitting next to the old one - it now works perfectly again! Now between the two we can see our 2 1/2 year olds entire room. Great product for the price, the only thing I would like to change is that the old model has better volume control whereas the new one just has silent and then different levels. The picture is very clear and large enough to see what is going on from across our living room. We plan on buying another one shortly for our next upcoming baby. |

| I was very hesitant to buy this monitor but I needed one quickly (my son was coming home from the hospital) and after reading all the reviews I settled on this one. It works great! The sound is awesome, you hear everything! I mean it's not perfect (hence the four stars. The screen flickers sometimes and depending on how close place the monitor by another electronic product it makes this high pitched sound) but it works great for me. I say take a chance if you're considering buying this one. |

Awesome camera, great sound, great picture, very durable, very affordable, wonderful product! As the paranoid first-timer, I was scared my little man would stop breathing due to SIDS...rolling over...pulling the cover over his head...being too close to a pillow...etc..etc..etc.! I am SO GLAD we have the video instead of just sound. We co-sleep, so when he naps it is in our bed as well - he tends to roll and twist in his sleep but if I use a wedge he just gets angry he can't move and wakes up! Unfortunately, he hasn't ever been a swaddle baby. This has saved us lots of stress and lets our little guy sleep in peace.
We have used it for about 8 months now. I use it constantly. It has been through all kinds of abuse. The baby has snagged the camera a few times to put it through his own tests and the monitor has been knocked off the arm of the couch or table by one of our cats many, many, times...it keeps on working great. Extremely durable and very clear picture. I will be getting my friends these for their baby showers! |

| I really love this monitor. I have been uncomfortable ever since I moved my son into his own room because I can't SEE what's making him cry. Has he got an arm or leg caught or is he just crying because he doesn't want to go to sleep? Now I enjoy watching him go to sleep with this great monitor. My husband and I watch and laugh as he plays with his stuffed rabbit and watches his hang on aquarium toy until he falls asleep. It's this great window into that part of his world. It's really so comforting to me and I wish I had bought it several months ago when we made the transition to putting him to sleep in his own room. A great product. The picture is super clear during the day and still quite clear at night. The only issue I have with it is that it doesn't have a subtle "dial" volume control but more of a push button type and the lowest volume is still really loud. I would prefer to fine tune the volume more but other than that, no complaints. |

| We bought this product to help with my mother. We wanted to keep her home for her hospice care. Due to confusion we were unable to leave her alone safely while we took care of her many chores. This product was a LIfe Saver,the Picture day and night was crystal clear and sound just as good. We were able to leave the room while continuing to keep our mom safe. most recommended |

| We purchased this product the first time in April of 2009. We had never owned a baby video monitor before so there was nothing to compare it to. After about a year, the picture started getting fuzzy around the edges and slowly (about 3 months later) it went totally black. We then used it basically for the sound, but that was going too. A lot of interference noise. Keep in mind we used the video every single day for hours. Last week I decided to purchase another monitor and after reading the reviews of all of the other models, I decided to go with this one again. It seems that they all have there flaws so at least this one is relatively inexpensive and I know what to expect. Plus, now that my daughter is older I won't be obsessed so much with watching her all the time. Maybe it will last longer this time. So far with this one, the picture is clear and you can definitely hear all that goes on in her room. Very little interference. |
Could see neighbor's baby clearly.. and they could probably see ours!

We didn't mind this product at first. It has decent video and decent audio. A neighbor nearby recently had a baby, however, and now I constantly pick up their monitor.. video and all! I regularly have to switch channels (there are only 3) to find the clearest picture/sound of my baby. Many times I have to listen to static all night long!
Probably not an issue if you're not near anyone using this same monitor but watch what you say and wear! It was very creepy to turn it on one day and see a crystal clear picture of a baby that wasn't mine. |

Pros:
It works
Picture is clear
Sensitive Mic, you can hear the baby breathing at high volume
Cons:
The speaker on the monitor is on the bottom so if you have it sitting on something made of cloth it may muffle the sound
The Monitor speaker has a constant background of white noise which is very annoying even at the lowest volume when you are trying to sleep
Our cordless phone makes the monitor freak out and emit a loud screeching noise when it rings or you are talking on it, no matter which frequency setting we use on the monitor. |

| We have been perfectly happy with this video monitor. It works well day or night. We have only had some interference issues when there was construction on the road next to our house... but otherwise, we haven't had any trouble. Our neighbors have a different Summer monitor and we haven't had any issues with seeing each other's homes or anything. Our four year old loves to go up and talk with our one year old when he awakens from his nap, and I can listen in/watch while finishing up making lunch! Video monitors are a great idea! Just wish it didn't take up so much counter space... |
